OpenCL Game Engine

The purpose of this project is to create a new kind of game engine based on simulations of simplified chemical substances.

The physical simulation will take advantage of the computation power unleashed by modern parallel compute devices and enable exploitation of systemic phenomena such as emergence, evolution and self-organization to generate rich and dynamic graphics. This could be used in computer games and video installations.

The engine is written in Objective-C/C++ and currently runs on Mac OS X Leopard. OpenCL is however highly suitable for the computations involved and I am currently investigating the new possibilities.
